The Idaho Job and Career Fair will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Aug. 17 at the Nampa Civic Center.
There are over 50 employers that are attending the job fair. According to a press release from organizers, there are hundreds of open positions available. The fair is free to attend.
There are positions available in industries such as transportation, customer service, manufacturing, insurance, law enforcement, landscaping, finance, counseling, laborers, administration, shipping/receiving, sales, caregiving, assembly, trades, health care, land management, cleaning services, fabrication, mental health support, production, hospitality, security, welding, education and warehouse jobs, among others. There are varying work schedules.
According to IBL Event’s website, a cohost of the career fair, there will be access at the fair to free seminars on resume writing, job searching and interview tips.
Potential employees can pre-register at the Idaho Career Fair website. It is advised that applicants bring multiple physical copies of their resume and dress professionally.
