Dr. Dan Schmidt graduated from Idaho WAMI in 1986. Today, he works part-time in a Federally Qualified Health Center as a family doctor and specializes in treating people with opioid addiction. From 2010 to 2016, Schmidt served constituents as an Idaho State Senator in District 6 and then in District 5, and, among other notable activities, advocated for Medicaid Expansion.
