2022 general election results in the races for Idaho Legislature
Many races for Idaho House and state Senate were uncontested
Election results updated: Nov. 14, with 100% of counties reporting.
The Idaho Capital Sun is reporting the results from the Idaho 2022 general election, based on data from the Idaho Secretary of State’s Office. The results are a combined total of votes reported by precincts, in each county across the state. Some precincts take longer to count ballots and report their vote totals.
The election results will remain unofficial until they have been certified by top elections officials.
Idaho voters on Tuesday, Nov. 8, cast their ballots in the races for Idaho governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, schools superintendent, Congress, the Idaho Legislature and local offices.
This year, once-in-a-decade redistricting gave Idaho a new legislative map. That meant some sitting lawmakers in the Idaho Senate and House of Representatives ran against each other in the May primary, while others ran in new districts.

Editor’s note: Previous versions of this table showed incomplete vote totals, as precincts had not yet finalized vote counting. A previous version also inverted the vote totals for District 6a candidates Lori McCann (R) and Trish Carter-Goodheart (D).
